Leading two make a big gap

In contrast to last week when the top two teams lost, this week Team Aeriel and Pin Pals both won 12-0 and open up a big buffer of 16 points to third place Lightning Strikes. The Pin Pals had another high scoring night with both ladies scoring over 600 with handicap in a 1,250 series; Anita had new high scores for this season; a 483 series, 39 higher than before including a game that was 12 higher at 189 (239).

Another high scoring match saw Lightning Strikes draw with Young Tigers with only two pins in the final game score and the overall pinfall. Graham Lewis returned to his old team for the night and had a great 193, 205, 209 series for a 607 total and a zero handicap for the future. Both Graham's 607 and Lightning's 1,119 series are the best in the league so far. Merv Farrow had his first 500 series this season, 6 better than previously at 502, (619)

Karl King had new high scores for this league, his series was 42 higher at 601 (685) and his 230 (258) game was an improvement of 10. Daniel Smith, Living on a Spare, had a new high series, 7 higher at 445 (595)

The average scratch game this week was 152.2 and the league to date rose by 0.4 to 146.4
The average scratch series this week was 456.7 (last week 438.5)
