Steve Butterworth in lane 24 and Jeff Hill in lane 7 both had excellent matches tonight - their highest scores and their first time over 500 in any Monday League. Steve scored 542 (671 with handicap) which was an improvement of 90 on his previous high this season.and Jeff hit a 524 series (650), 34 higher than his best this season. They were the only players with 200 games: Steve scored 208 (251, second best of the league so far) and Jeff hit 202 (244, fourth best this year).

Carl Briggs improved his high series by 7 to 496 (610). Nora had another good week and her high series rose by 21 to 438 (606).
